Custom Commissions & Child Heirlooms
"Custom"—it's a word we use a lot as artists, but simply said, it means that I work with your ideas to make something unique and meaningful just for you.
Commissioning custom lettering art begins a process as unique as painting a portrait—no two works will ever be the same because each is done by hand and speaks specifically to the recipient.
Whether you have a clear vision of what you would like, or need some guidance
in deciding the details, in the end you will have an original work of art to be treasured personally or given with pride.

Child Heirlooms When I was a child, a framed decorative certificate hung on my wall,
stating my name, where I was born, and all the particulars of my birth. Many years later as my friends began having children, I wanted a unique way to celebrate their children and to give a special gift that would be treasured just as my certificate was treasured. My child heirloom pieces begin by researching the meaning of the child's name and weaving this into a hand-written text. The child's full name, birth date and time, weight and length are included, along with selected quotes or Biblical scripture of your choosing. Clothes and bottles, cribs and diapers are all on the registry for the parents-to-be. Why not choose something unique that tells the beginning of a life story? One client recently said, "I am so proud that I can give my great-granddaughters something no one else can give."
